About Andrés
Recording Engineer
Andrés has degrees in Music and the Recording Arts from Indiana University Bloomington, where he studied electronics, audio theory, and classical-music production under David Pickett and audio engineering under Wayne Jackson. After finishing his degree, he was hired as staff-engineer at Delos International, where he was mentored by the legendary John Eargle and Jeff Mee. At Delos, he got his early introduction to the recording industry, recording, editing, mixing, mastering and producing several CDs. After Delos, he worked at Craigman Digital, an in-house production partner with Warner Brothers Records. There he continued mastering CDs, as well as authoring DVDs and other multi-media platforms.
In 2008, he left California for the East Coast where he functioned as the Audio Specialist at Princeton University's Department of Music for twelve years.
He now focuses entirely on his freelance recording and producing career, as well as his family and his love of photography.
